Marilyn Jean Cross

September 5, 1945 — August 28, 2014

Marilyn J. Cross (nee King), of Mukwonago, died on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice surrounded by her loving daughters at the age of 68 years. She was born in Waukesha on September 5, 1945 the daughter of Harry and Virginia (nee Mrozinski) King. Marilyn was a hard-worker and very proud of her 32 year career at GE Medical Systems. She loved flowers and tending to her garden. Marilyn was an avid reader and volunteer at the Mukwonago Community Library and shared her love of reading with her daughters. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Tracey (Don Fowler) Cross of Sheboygan Falls, Roxanne (Dean) Rinehart of Milwaukee and Carrie Cross of Sussex. She was the dear nana to Heather McMichael and Cory, Kyle and Rebekah Mareno. She is further survived by her sisters, Claudette Biddle of Stevens Point and Ginger Dietscher of Waukesha, her brother-in-law Mike Riccardi of California along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Patricia Riccardi and Moneen Gillis; and one brother Thomas R. King.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Because of Marilyn’s love for reading, memorials in her name are appreciated to the Mukwonago Community Library, 511 Division Street, Mukwonago, WI 53149.
