Maria Garcia

Maria Guadalupe Garcia, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at LindenGrove Health Care Center surrounded by her family at the age of 90. She was born in Selma, TX on December 12, 1921 the daughter of Laureano and Marianita (nee Mendez) Medina. Maria worked at Carroll University and Paul's Metropolitan Restaurant. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She will be sadly missed by her children, Lily (the late Loreto) Nunez, Juanita (Isabel) Barron, Albert (the late Paulette) Garcia, Jose (Iris) Garcia, Robert Garcia and Linda (Felix) Garcia-Martinez. She was the proud grandmother of 21 grandchildren, great-grandmother of 44 and great-great-grandmother of 7. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Sipriano Garcia, two infant sons and her brothers, Baleriano, Patricio, Jose, Pedro and Ignacio, and her sisters Francisa Campa and Maria Guel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 5:00 until 8:00PM with a prayer service at 7:00PM at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Services continue on Friday, February 24th beginning with prayers at the funeral home at 9:45AM followed by a procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue, Waukesha for the 10:30AM funeral Mass.
