Margareth Marie Hengen Smith (Nee: Stapleton)

Margareth Marie Hengen Smith (nee: Stapleton), 79, died July 11, 2013 at Clearview Home in Juneau, WI. She was born February 2, 1934 in North Lake, Wisconsin to Francis and Theresa (nee Kilps) Stapleton. She was married to her first husband Francis Hengen in 1951 and then to her second husband Raymond Smith at First Baptist Church in Waukesha in 1969. Raymond preceded her in death in 1984.

She will be missed by her children: Diane (Thomas) Pitsch of Oconomowoc, and Frank Hengen of Janesville, son-in-law Dale Phelps of Fort Atkinson, 9 grandchildren: Barb (Clarence) Reath, Dawn (Bill) Streib, Nichole (Andrew) Brahm, Sharon (Justin) Hacht, Jeramy (Beth) Hayton, Jamie James, Amanda James, Frank Hengen Jr, and Rowan Hengen, 14 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters: Johanna Webb of Colorado, Elvira (Oscar) Kopshinsky of Waukesha, Geraldine Drews of Mukwonago, and Charlotte Spangler of Stoughton, brother Walter Stapleton of Waukegan, Illinois, and sister-in-law Marie Stapleton of Mukwonago. Her first husband Francis Hengen of Milwaukee survives as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Carol Phelps in 1986, her sisters and brother-in-law: Lucille (Dewey) Jensen, Catherine Jahnke, and Beverly Stapleton, and her brother Roger Stapleton.

Visitation will be Monday July 22, 2013 at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Avenue Waukesha from 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.
