Margaret Jorgensen

February 3, 1920 — January 8, 2017

Margaret Jorgensen of Waukesha passed away into Eternal Life surrounded by her family on Sunday, Jan 8th 2017 at LindenGrove Nursing Home in New Berlin at age 96. Margaret was the youngest of 13 children born to John and Mary Ann (nee Tonn) Ebhert. She was the proud mother of 10 and loved having her family around her and playing cards. In fact, she most recently played cards this past Christmas with her family.

Margaret was devoted to her faith above all else and was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Her grandchildren and children were what she enjoyed bragging about, along with the fact that her husband Stanley was a firefighter for 28 years. She had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor (which came in handy with so many children).

Margaret is survived by 9 of her children, Christine (Arturo) Jorgensen-Rendon, Gary Jorgensen, Charlene Hammer, Ken (Janet) Hudon-Jorgensen, Joel (Nancy) Jorgensen, William Chrostowski, Colleen Jorgensen-Fullhart, Greg (Chinchi) Jorgensen and Mary Beth (Marsh) Smith. She was the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren Renee Jorgensen, Brian Keating-Rendon, Monique Rendon, Elizabeth Jorgensen, Michael Rendon, Byron Jorgensen, Gwen Jorgensen Lemieux, Kaitlyn Touey, Megan Battson, and Amanda Fullhart. Along with her 5 great-grandchildren Samantha Moon, Myranda Moon, Brianna Keating- Rendon, Willow Keating- Rendon, and Madison Touey. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband John Jerome Wagner, second husband Stanley Jorgensen for 49 years, her son Randie Jorgensen and her brothers and sisters.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff of LindenGrove in New Berlin for the wonderful care provided to Margaret and their family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery with committal prayers in the chapel. Memorials in Margaret’s name are appreciated to St. Mary Catholic Church.
