Kenneth E. Young

Kenneth “Ken” E. Young of Waukesha passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 76. He was born in Waukesha on August 18, 1940 the son of Thomas and Mabel (nee Tessmann) Young. On August 18, 2003, he married Linda (nee Richter). After working many years as a truck driver, Ken retired from Martin Transport in 1999. He was a member of AA for 46 years.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Linda of Waukesha, his daughters, Carrie (Shawn) Dunkerton of Powder Springs, GA and Angela (Charles) Habenstreit of Warner Robbins, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother, Don Young, sisters, Sandra Young and Kathleen Bensing, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Mary Ann and his brother Thomas Young.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 3:00 PM until the funeral service at 5:00 PM at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin on Thursday at 10 AM. Please meet at the cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the family.
