Katherine R. Erke of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Seasons Hospice at the age of 89. She was born on October 16, 1927 the daughter of Joseph and Adelaide (nee Stoik) Carlsen and was a 1946 graduate of Waukesha High School.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Paula (Tom) Hannon of Surprise, AZ, Peter Erke of Waukesha, Chris (Jeanne) Erke of Appleton and Ken (Melissa) Erke of Chicago, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother David Carlsen along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Boone, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery.
