Waukesha-Karl F. Plinska, age 90, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 12, 1917 in Gaastra, Michigan to Fred and Clara (Schroeder) Plinska. On October 30, 1943 he married the former Helen Louise Snell in Gooding, Idaho. They were blessed with 60 years of marriage. She preceded him in death on November 14, 2003. Mr. Plinska was a proud veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of the D.A.V. and a retired letter carrier. He is survived by his children: Karlene Kennedy of Nevada and Lee (Tamara) Plinska of Waukesha, grandchildren: Ashley and Nicole Plinska and a brother-in-law William (Marie) Snell of Colorado. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Visitation for Mr. Plinska will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM Funeral Service all at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 S. East Avenue, Waukesha. Interment with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, 10:00 AM at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 10700 W. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee (please meet at cemetery entrance).
