She is survived by her other two sons, Kent (Cynthia) Larimer of Mequon and Ralph (Claire) Larimer of Zionsville, IN, her grandchildren, Brian Larimer of Oakland, CA, Thomas Larimer of Mt. Hood, OR, Donald (Angie) Larimer of West Bend, Maren (Simon) Mittal of Maplewood, MN, Eric (Jessica) Larimer of Guatemala and Anne (Steven) Sushka of Carmel, IN and her great-grandchildren, Kyla, Jamin, Aria, Daniel, Thomas, Ella, Eli, Sarah and Jonah.

June was an active member of St. Mark’s Ev. Lutheran Church and Chapter AQ of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

She was a graduate of Chicago Teachers College, Carthage College and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. June was a reading director in the Waukesha Public Schools and a reading teacher in the Swallow School District of Hartland. Her interests were in oil painting, attending Elderhostels and bridge with friends.

In a biography written by June, she shared these words about her faith. I have always felt the love of Christ, his guidance, and his presence. As a “handmaiden” I have always felt empathy toward children with problems in schools. I have taught Sunday School, been a Sunday School Administrator, participated in church social organizations, been on building committees and kept my family close to God. But as Luther said “not by works, but by faith!” Recognize God has His will, be diligent in what God has given you to do, be faithful even in small things, speak to the mountain. God is working through you, ask Jesus to make your faith strong, look forward to our reunion with HIM and our loved ones.
