Judith A. Coshun

Judith “Judy” Ann Hoberg Coshun of Waukesha found Eternal peace on Monday, January 9, 2017 following over a decade long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease at the age of 83. She was born in Green Bay, WI on February 22, 1933 the daughter of LeRoy and Josephine (nee Schwartz) Hoberg. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Green Bay and then worked as a secretary at Hoberg Paper Company in Green Bay. On April 24, 1954, she married Lawrence “Larry” Coshun. Judy was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Judy had a big heart and passion for helping people and had a love for animals, art and music. She was devoted to her family and will always be remembered for her great personality and sense of humor and as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 62 years, Larry of Waukesha and their children, David Coshun of Waukesha, Mary Jo (Dean) Grant of New Berlin, Craig (Pam) Coshun of Verona and Leslie Coshun of Waukesha. She was the proud grandmother of Amanda and Elizabeth Coshun, Danielle, Austin and Katie Wilson, John and Jacob Coshun and Alexander and William Grant. She is further survived by her brothers Richard “Dick” Briquelet, David Briquelet and Darryl Briquelet along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Rose Maes and brother Daniel Briquelet.

The family wishes to extend a special “thank you” to Legacy Assisted Living, AseraCare Hospice and Care of Wisconsin for the kindness, care and support they provided to Judy and their family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials in Judy’s name are appreciated to Alzheimer’s Association Southeastern WI Chapter, 620 S. 76th Street, Suite 160, Milwaukee, WI 53214 or to HAWS (Humane Animal Welfare Society), 701 Northview Rd., Waukesha, WI 53188.
