WAUKESHA - Joseph F. Jarvis, 70, of Waukesha, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc. He was born on September 10, 1937 in Waukesha to Joseph D. and Grace (nee: Woelfl) Jarvis. He was a 1956 graduate of Waukesha High School. On September 17, 1966 he married the former Carol Jandt. In 1967 he began working at DeCanio Builders Supply Company, until his retirement this year. He will be sadly missed by his wife Carol of Waukesha along with their daughters Cathy (Al) Solowicz of Neenah and Beth Bergman of Hartland. Dear grandfather of Jenny, Ally, Sam and Katey Solowicz and Abby and Emma Bergman. Beloved brother of Al Jarvis of Whitefish Bay, Jerry Jarvis of Waterford, Mary Stone of Virginia and Bernadine (Don) Marx of Waukesha. He is further survived by his sister-in-law Hilde Jarvis of Kansas, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Delores Hutchinson and Pat Bergmann and brother Daniel Jarvis. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28th from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue. Graveside services will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials in Joe's name are appreciated for Masses at church or AngelsGrace Hospice, W359 N7430 Brown St. Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
