Long-time Waukesha resident, John Zeilhofer, age 81, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at AngelsGrace Hospice. Mr. Zeilhofer was born on October 14, 1925 in Hangenham, Germany to John and Theresa Zeilhofer. He had recently moved back to Wisconsin after living in Sarasota, Florida for many years. John was a member of Iron Workers Local #8. On October 7, 1952 he married Edeltraut Steinhoff in Freising, Germany. He is survived by his wife Edeltraut; their children: Rudy (JoAnn) Zeilhofer of Waukesha and Jerry (Linda) Zeilhofer of Fountain Hills, Arizonia; grandchildren: Matt, Robb, Luke, Chrissy and Paul and a brother Martin (Marlene) Zeilhofer of South Milwaukee, other relatives in Germany and many friends also survive. Visitation for John will be held on Wednesday August 1, 2007 from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM Funeral Service at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue. The burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date outside Munich, Germany.
