Jeremiah Williams

Waukesha - Jeremiah W. Williams, age 95, lifetime resident of the Town of Delafield, died Saturday, April 14, 2007 at AngelsGrace Hospice. He was born on September 9, 1911, the son of Moses and Alice (nee Edwards) Williams. He married Elizabeth Guderyon on January 4, 1942 in Wales, WI. Along with his family, he farmed in the Town of Delafield his entire life. He belonged to the Waukesha County Farm Bureau from the time he was about 30 years old until the present. He was a member of the County, State and National Holstein Associations, and was active in 4H of Waukesha County. He was also a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church in Waukesha. He will sadly missed by his children: Betty (Patrick) Moore of Waukesha, Lloyd (Cheryl) Williams of the Town of Delafield, Joyce (Ed) Yamada of Waukesha, Mary (Roland "George") Roberts of Wales, and Karen Williams of the Town of Delafield; grandchildren: Kevin (Nicole) Yamada of Houston, TX, Michael (Nichole) Yamada of Palmyra, Jay Moore of Delafield, Jon Moore of Waukesha, Jodi (Shawn) Smith of Milwaukee, Jennifer (Sean) Beres of the Town of Delafield; great-grandchildren: Faith and Makayla Yamada of Palmyra, Lloyd Beres of the Town of Delafield, and Jaeden Smith of Milwaukee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth on September 18, 1984; his daughter, Susie on June 27, 2000; brothers and sisters: M. Edward Williams, Nellie Prentice, Nettie Bonniwell, William Williams, and Jessie Williams; and his parents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Rev. Robert Gossett will officiate. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 19, at 1:00 PM at Ottawa Cemetery, Hwys 67 and D.
