Jennie Steinke

Waukesha-Jennie E. Steinke, 90, died Friday, January 5, 2007 at Virginia Health & Rehab Center. She was born in Vernon on July 16, 1916 to George and Martha (Nee: Lang) Waschow. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and a member of the Waukesha Eagles Club Aerie 453. She was employed at Carroll College where she worked as a cashier, retiring in 1992. She is survived by her children: Alvin Keller of Waukesha and Betty Gerloff of Milwaukee; daughter-in-law, Helga Keller of Arizona. She is further survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elvin J. Steinke in 1986; her son LeRoy Keller, her brother, George Waschow and her sister, Rose (Archie) Stoddard. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from 4-7:30 PM at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. An Eagles Service will be held at 7:30 PM followed by the Funeral Service at 8:00 PM. Burial will be on Wednesday at Prairie Home Cemetery at 10 AM. Please meet at the cemetery chapel.
