Jean A. Woyahn
July 20, 1927 — July 28, 2018
Jean Alice Woyahn found peace and was called to her heavenly home Saturday, July 28, 2018 at age 91.
She is lovingly survived by her children Lynn (Joe) Bartos, Tom (Pam Voight) Woyahn and Jim Woyahn; cherished grandchildren Michael (Meredith) Bartos, Jonathan (Renee) Bartos, Jacob, Matthew, Ashley and Alyssa Woyahn and Amanda (Robert) Chapel; beloved great-grandchildren Devin, Marissa and Dominic Bartos, and Mason and Jackson Chapel. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews and their families.
Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years Burt, her father and mother Gilbert and Gladys Sherer and her "special" sister Jody.
Jean will be lovingly missed by her family and friends. But she will be remembered for her kindness, class and guidance to so many people.
She had 3 pillars that guided her in life: Faith, Family and Friends. She Loved them all!
Rev. Jason Hacker will officiate at a private burial at Prairie Home Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 11th at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 700 Beechwood Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 1:00 pm service at the church. Continued fellowship will follow the memorial service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Grace Ev. Lutheran Church or to the Waukesha Service Club would be appreciated.
Thank you to all Jean's friends who kept her in their thoughts and prayers these last few months. She loved you all.
