Jean Wilcenski

July 3, 1934 — November 28, 2010

Jean M. Wilcenski was born on July 3, 1934, on Dopp Street in Waukesha, the daughter of Clayton and Clarice (nee Lattin) Jackson. She was nicknamed by her mother as “my ½ of a firecracker baby.”  Jean found  perfect peace in the arms of Jesus on November 28, 2010. A lifelong resident of Waukesha, she married Jerome Wilcenski on Nov. 19, 1955.  Together they raised a family of four children and ran a family business.  They bred and showed “Strong-Line Black” Clydesdale horses.  Jean loved being a mom and spoiling her grandchildren.  Her famous Grandma Jean blankets were loved by everyone who received one.  She will be sadly missed by her children Anthony (Deb) Wilcenski of Waukesha, Theresa (Dan) Spinella of Florida, Linda (Delbert) Nader of Waukesha and Thomas Wilcenski of Waukesha and daughter-in-law, Connie Wilcenski of Pewaukee.  She is further survived by 6 grandchildren: Jerome Andrew II, Jennifer (Brad) Freitag, Joseph Wilcenski, Nathan Nader, Claire Nader, Anja Wilcenski and her sister Kathryn (Warren) Reese of Elgin, IL, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jerome, her parents Clarice and Clayton Jackson and brother Clayton, Jr.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010  at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. from 9:00 AM until the 11 AM funeral service.  Entombment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.  Memorials are appreciated to The Caring Place, 810 N. East Ave. Waukesha, WI  53186; Brookfield Rehab. 18740 W. Bluemound Rd. You are a blessing to everyone you meet.  Dan Cramer, Sharon Fry and all the staff at Brookfield Rehab for the daily caring and friendship you gave Jean while she was there.  You made her very happy.  All the staff at the Caring Place, they supported Jean and helped and guided us to get the best help for our mother.  You all went above and beyond to help.”   John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: Not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
