James Roberts

James L. Roberts of Waukesha and Hallandale Beach, FL, was born to eternal life on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Waukesha Springs at the age of 87.  He was born on February 24, 1922 in Nashotah, WI, the son of David and Margaret (nee Butterfield) Roberts.  He was united in marriage to Sharon L. Arnold on June 22, 1957.  Jim served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force, and also received a degree in elementary education from Whitewater Teacher’s College.  After teaching for five years, he worked for the Waukesha County Highway Department for 34 years.  Jim will be deeply missed by his wife of 52 years, Sharon of Waukesha; brother-in-law, Michael (Judith) Arnold of Woburn, MA; and sister-in-law, Lois Roberts of Naples, FL.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers:  David E. and Richard L. Roberts; and sisters-in-law:  Nancy Arnold and Bette Roberts. Private services will be held at a later date, with interment at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
