James "Jim" Alexander Henke

December 22, 1932 — March 30, 2015

James Alexander Henke, of Waukesha, took God’s hand on Monday, March 30, 2015. He was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on December 22, 1932.

Jim is survived by his wife, Sandra and their sons Jacob of Neenah and Matthew of Waukesha. He was preceded in death by parents, Bennie and Goldie and his sister, Mary. He is further survived by his in-laws, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Jim graduated from Waukesha High School, class of 1950. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a long time member of the American Legion and the VFW. Jim will always be remembered as a loyal and devoted father, husband and friend.

Private family services will be held in celebration of Jim’s life. Burial with full military honors will be at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to AngelsGrace Hospice, N74 W35908 Servants’ Way, Oconomowoc, WI 53066 or HAWS, 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188.
