James "Jim" E. Doherty

James “Jim” E. Doherty, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at his home at the age of 72. He was born in Plymouth, WI on December 6, 1942 the son of Edward and Evelyn (nee Athorp) Doherty. On December 29, 1971 he married Alice “Katie” Chambers at Camp Pendleton, CA and together they loved to travel together. Jim worked for Heritage Mortgage and owned his own property management business. He was a member of St. Mark Ev. Lutheran Church where he enjoyed serving as an usher.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 43 years, Katie of Waukesha, his children, Cristine “Alie” (Michael) Cook of Aspen, CO, Jason (Anne Taja) Doherty of Los Angeles, CA and Theodore Doherty of Waukesha and his granddaughter Cali Koutnik. He is further survived by his brothers Randy Doherty of Sheboygan and Don (Terri) Doherty of Appleton along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2015 from 2:00PM until the time of the 4:00PM funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Pastor Andy Fetters will preside. Flowers would be appreciated by the family.
