Jacquelyn "Jackie" Loretta Scrima

Jacquelyn “Jackie” L. Scrima a longtime Waukesha resident passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 10, 2018 at the age of 87. She was born on January 29, 1931 the daughter of Henry and Florence (nee Schweitzer) Hartlage. On June 29, 1957 she married her beloved husband, Nicholas “Nick” Scrima. Jackie was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling, going to the casino, playing cards in her monthly card club and building her large collection of Beanie Babies. She was the most kind, caring and generous woman around and she will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Nick of Waukesha, her daughter Dianne (fiancée Brian Gorman) Mueller of Waukesha, her grandchildren, Andy (Dani) Scrima, Ashley Scrima, Elizabeth Scrima, Juliette Scrima, Justin (Jenna) Mueller and Jared Gorman. She is further survived by her beloved dog and companion, Misty along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her two cherished sons, Steven in 2006 and Thomas in 2008 who both suffered long battles with multiple sclerosis.

A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 2PM to 6PM at the Waukesha Elks Lodge, 2301 Springdale Road, Waukesha, WI 53186 . Private entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha.
