Irving Bonniwell

DELAFIELD-Irving E. Bonniwell, of Delafield, died on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Waukesha Springs at the age of 94.  He was born on June 14, 1915 in Delafield. Irving was a graduate of St. John’s Military Academy and served in the US Army during WWII.  He was a member of the Delafield American Legion Post 196 and active in the Forty & Eight Society.  Irving was a volunteer firefighter in Delafield for many years and owned Bonniwell Department Store. He will be sadly missed by his son Eugene (Lorraine) Bonniwell of Waukesha, his granddaughter Sheila Bonniwell of Sussex, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his wife Nettie, brothers and sisters; Glenn, Wes, Vi and Margaret and his parents.  Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI.
