Irma Christoph

Irma R. Christoph, age 94, former longtime Waukesha resident, died Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Cedar Lake Health and Rehab Center in West Bend. She was born on May 10, 1913 in Racine, WI, the daughter of Herbert Sr. and Irma (nee: Albrecht) Ritter. After graduating from Waukesha High School, Irma attended Carroll College in Waukesha. She married John J. Christoph on May 17, 1952, who preceded her in death on September 26, 1978. Irma was employed as a secretary and bookkeeper for Wisconsin Time Plan for many years before her retirement. She was also a lifelong member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Waukesha. Irma will be sadly missed by her nieces, Barbara ( Paul) Soat of West Bend, and Kathie Ritter of Waukesha, and other nieces and nephews. She is further survived by a stepson, Allen Christoph of Hartland, and two stepgrandsons. In addition to her husband, John, and her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Margaret Mueller and Charlotte Thiel, 1 brother, Herbert Ritter, Jr., and her niece, Charlotte Sabolowski. A committal service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Prairie Home Cemetery on Prairie Avenue in Waukesha. Please meet at the cemetery office. Rev.
