Irene S. Hutchins

Irene S. Hutchins, of Waukesha, died on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at LindenGrove in Waukesha at the age of 77 years. She was born in Waukegan, IL on September 9, 1936 the daughter of LaMont and Frieda (nee Knox) Ray. Irene loved the outdoors and nature. She enjoyed baking, reading and music but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Donald (Molly) Hutchins of Ohio, Wendy (Lyle) Lundy of Genesee, Becky (Gary) Green of Waukesha, Fred (Jackie) Hutchins of Three Lakes, Irene (Terry Switzer) Miller of Indiana and Tina (Pat) Polster of Waukesha and her special daughter Jean Rose and her son John Rose. She was the dear grandmother of 18 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 14 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brothers Art Ray and John Ray both of Waukesha along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John Joseph Hutchins, her sister Elfrieda Russ and her brothers Paul, LaMont and Frederick Ray.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to LindenGrove in Waukesha and to Seasons Hospice for the kind, gentle care they provided Irene.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 11:00AM until the time of the 1:00PM memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Pastor Ralph Schultz will preside. Interment will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
