Helen M. Pavlovics, of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at LindenGrove Health Care Center in Waukesha at the age of 94. She was born on May 17, 1914 in Budapest, Hungary to Istvan and Eszter (Illes) Metz. Helen was united in marriage to Martin G. Pavlovics on August 11, 1935 in Budapest; he preceded her in death on July 10, 1986. Helen, Martin, and their daughter, Edith came to the United States in 1957. She was employed at the Boston Store for many years, specializing in wedding alterations. Helen's interests included music, politics, her home, her faith, and especially her family. Helen will be very much missed by her daughter, Edith (George) Love of Waukesha; granddaughter, Melissa (Jeff) Greipp; great-granddaughter, Olivia Helen; nieces and nephews: Rose (Tom) Jungbluth and Ildiko (Skip) Poliner and their families; and a very special nephew and grandniece in Budapest: Dr. Sandor Eckschmiedt and Dr. Monika Eckschmiedt. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sister Eszter, her brother Istvan, and her parents. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 9:30AM until 10:30AM, with the funeral service at 10:30 AM, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. Graveside services will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials in Helen's name may be made to the Waukesha Symphony.
