Hazel Brecher

Hazel C. Brecher, age 90, of Brookfield, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Heartland Health Care Center in Pewaukee. She was born on July 1, 1917 in Waukesha to Frederick and Caroline (nee: Stutz) Brecher. She had worked for 37 years at Schlitz Brewery. She lived in Milwaukee for many years and later moved to Brookfield Highlands. Hazel enjoyed traveling. She will be sadly missed by her sister Arlene Scholl of Waukesha, nieces and nephews, H. Jerry (Donna) Brecher of Alabama; Carol (Mike) Kennedy of Brookfield; Barbara Kilpatrick of Waukesha; Joan Brecher of Oklahoma; Charles (Bonnie) Scholl of Fort Atkinson and Steven (Janice) Scholl of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Alvin and Harold "Bud" Brecher. She is further survived by and preceded in death by many longtime friends at Schlitz Brewery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 from 10:00 AM until the 11:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 18000 W. Greenfield Avenue, Brookfield. Cryptside services will follow the Mass at St. Joseph Cemetery Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, Masses in Hazel's name may be made to St. Luke's Catholic Church (address above) or charity of donor's choice.
