Harold G. Lewis

Harold G. Lewis a lifelong Waukesha resident died Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Seasons Hospice at the age of 91. He was born in Waukesha on July 7, 1925 the son of Elmer and Lily (nee Diehl) Lewis. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during WWII in the Pacific Islands. On December 5, 1953 he married Lois Wolfe at the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ where they were longtime members. Harold worked for more than 40 years at Waukesha Engine. He loved to travel and was a wonderful husband and father.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 63 years, Lois of Waukesha and their son Mark (Kristine) Lewis of Caledonia.
A private family service will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials in Harold’s name are appreciated to the Evangelical & Reformed UCC, 413 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186.
