Pewaukee-Harold C. "Bud" Baker, age 84, died at his home on Saturday, January 27, 2007 surrounded by his family. He was born on May 22, 1922 in Milwaukee to Clyde and Florence (Wahauski) Baker. Harold graduated from Boys Tech in 1938. He served with honor in the U.S. Navy during World War II. On August 2, 1952 he married the former Mary Helen Mayer. His beloved Mary Helen preceded him in death on December 24, 2005. Mr. Baker had worked at Pelton Steel in Milwaukee, Lippman Inc. and for many years at JC Penney at Northridge. He was also a long-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waukesha. He is survived by his children: Kathleen J. (Thomas) Boyd of Loveland, Ohio; Timothy J. (Mary) Baker of Mukwonago; Harold C. Baker, Jr. of Pewaukee; Terrence E. Baker of Thiensville; Joseph P. Baker of Oconomowoc and Benjamin P. Baker of West Milwaukee; seven grandchildren: Jamie (fiancee? Matthew Tomlin) Boyd, Brad Baker, Nicole Baker, Chad (Tiffany) Boyd, Jenny Baker, Amy Baker and Steven Baker. Further survived by his sister Hazel Fricker of Wauwatosa, his nephew David Fricker of Waco, Texas and former daughters-in-law Lori and Heidi Baker. Other relatives and friends also survive. In addition to his parents and wife Mary Helen, he was preceded in death by his sister Gladys Lippman. Visitation will be Wednesday January 31, 2007 from 4:00 P.M. until the 7:30 P.M. parish vigil service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Avenue. Services will begin Thursday, February 1, 2007 from the funeral home with prayers at 12:15 P.M followed by a procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church 822 N. East Avenue, Waukesha for the 1:00 P.M. Funeral Mass. Entombment with military honors will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, N19W24350 Riverwood Drive, Pewaukee, WI 53188 are appreciated.
