Geraldine Boettcher

Geraldine R. Boettcher, of New Berlin, died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa at the age of 87.  She was born on May 5, 1921 in Wisconsin, the beloved daughter of William and Norma Verdien.  On January 11, 1941, she married Burce E. Boettcher.  She was a former member of Soat-Vergenz Auxiliary Post #721.  She had worked for Chicago Title for 40 years, retiring in 1994.  She will be sadly missed by her son Bruce Edward (Kathleen Sharon) Boettcher, Jr. of San Diego, CA, grandchildren Sheri Kay Boettcher of New Berlin, Jason Bruce (Ruby) Boettcher of San Diego, CA, great-grandchildren Mollie Emma Boettcher and Angus Bruce Boettcher both of San Diego, CA and her sister Meta (Robert) Peters of Waukesha.  She is further survived by other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce, as well as her parents.  Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20 from 6:30 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. Memorial Service at First United Methodist Church, 121 Wisconsin Avenue in Waukesha.  Burial of cremated remains will take place on Tuesday, April 21 at 9:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park.  Please meet at the cemetery.
