Gerald Carpenter

Of North Prairie, died on Friday, February 13, 2009 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 65. He was born in Waukesha on October 26, 1943.  Gerald was a 1963 graduate of Waukesha South High School and served in the National Guard from 1964 until 1973.  On January 8, 1966 he married Marie (nee Almekinder) at St. William Catholic Church in Waukesha. Gerald worked for Archie Ladwig from 1963 until 1977 and then worked for H&K for 27 years until his retirement in 2004. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. He will be sadly missed by his wife Marie of North Prairie, their children:  Ann Marie (Robert) LeDuc of Willard, WI, Jerry Carpenter of Pewaukee, Larry (Heidi) Carpenter of Franklin and Amy (Brian) Rosenberg of Pleasant Prairie, his mother Viola Spaulding of Waukesha, grandchildren: Jessica, Alieshia, Hannah, Rebekkah, Amanda, Autumn, Andrew, Joshua and Thomas.  He is further survived by his brother Dennis (Jean) Spaulding of Eagle, along with other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his father Louis.   Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 4:00PM until the 7:00PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S.
