George William Brooks, age 70, of Spartanburg, S.C. passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Brooks was a native of Waukesha, Wisconsin and a son of the late Eugene George Henry Brooks. He was formerly employed by Walmart as a cashier until his retirement on Friday, September 13, 2013.
He is survived by his mother, Marion Elsie Joos Brooks; two sons: George Brooks II and wife, Donna, and Stephen Brooks and wife, Leah; one daughter, Gina Werth and husband, Tim; one brother, Richard Brooks and wife, Kay; nine grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
