Frank Marose

WAUKESHA - Frank R. Marose, age 72, died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 21, 1935 in Waukesha to Frank and Lila (nee: Dagenhardt). He received his bachelor and masters degrees from UW-Stout in Technical Education. He taught Industrial Education at Ethan Allen School for Boys from 1961 until 1975 and at Waukesha North High School from 1978 until 1994. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1958 until 1960. On October 12, 1963 he married the former Mary Lou Chase at First Baptist Church in Waukesha, where he has been a member for the past 44 years, holding positions in many of their offices and was a member of the Senior Work Club. Frank was a member of the Waukesha Choral Union from 1986 until present, on the board of Friends of Waukesha Public Library, active in his investment club and card clubs, especially sheepshead. He enjoyed spending time at his cottage, in Door County, that he built in 1972, golfing with his friends and was thrilled to attend the Masters in Augusta, Georgia three times. The loves of his life are his children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his wife Mary Lou of Waukesha, children David (Connie) (nee: Burnell) Marose of Waukesha and Douglas Marose of Milwaukee, grandchildren Hannah, Emily and Maggie Marose, brother Harold (Doris) Marose of Waukesha, sister Carol Herr of Greenfield, nephews Paul (Kay) Marose of Juneau, John (Sue) Marose of Town of Brookfield and Roy Chase of Honey Creek, WI, nieces Donna Marose of Sullivan and Jamie (Roger) Baumeister of Elkhorn. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Ralph Herr. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, from 1:30 pm until the 4:30 pm funeral service at First Baptist Church, 247 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha 53186. A private family burial will be held.
