Evelyn Edna Shuff

Evelyn E. Shuff, 94, of Waukesha was called to her heavenly home Friday, February 16, 2018. She was born in West Allis on December 8, 1923 the daughter of Emil and Emma (nee: Reimold) Glitz. On July 17, 1943, she married Louis C. Shuff at St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Allis, he preceded her in death. Evelyn had worked at Wisconsin Bell Telephone for 31 years and retired in 1979. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukesha. She loved cooking and her family always enjoyed her gourmet meals.

She will be sadly missed by her son David (Nancy) Shuff, her grandchildren Darren (Karen) Shuff and Gary (DeeDee) Shuff, great-grandchildren Samuel and Gabriel Shuff, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brothers Arthur (Vera) Glitz, Edward (Eleanore) Glitz, Roy (Evelyn) Glitz, and Robert (Maryann) Glitz, and her sisters Helen (Jim) Bennett, Ruth (Onis) Sengpiel, and May (Richard) Hockett.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 3:00 PM until time of the 5:30PM funeral service at Randle Dable Brisk Funeral Home 1110 S Grand Avenue Waukesha, WI 53186. Pastor Lawrence Gates will preside. Private cryptside services will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. If desired, memorials are appreciated to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church 1052 Whiterock Avenue Waukesha, WI 53186.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at The Virginia Health and Rehab for their patience and excellent care provided to Evelyn over the years, and Rev. Lawrence Gates for his loving care and spiritual guidance, it is greatly appreciated.
