Ernabelle "Ernie" J. Madushaw

Ernabelle "Ernie" J. Madushaw, of Waukesha, formerly of Pewaukee died February 14, 2017 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 82. She was born on October 4, 1934, in Waukesha, the daughter of Ervin and Erna (nee Doman) Andree. She was a 1952 graduate of Waukesha High School and received her BA in teaching at the Teachers College in Whitewater. She taught primary education in Wisconsin, Germany and Venezuela. On June 30, 1973 she married Frank M. Madushaw at Redeemer United Church of Christ in Sussex. She has been a longtime member of Redeemer United Church of Christ where she was involved with many church activities. She was the past state President of Church Women United. She volunteered as a driver for Elder Care. Ernabelle had lived in Pewaukee for 33 years and for the past 10 years resided in Waukesha.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Frank, of Waukesha, along with her sisters Shirley (the late “Les”) Spitzer of Lompoc, CA and Elaine (Tom) Griswold of Ixonia and brother James (Nancy) Andree of Austin, TX. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The memorial service will be at Redeemer United Church of Christ, W220 N4915 Town Line Rd., Menomonee Falls, WI 53051, Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 3:00 PM. Please arrive between 2:30 PM and 2:45 PM. There will be a reception and visiting after the memorial service. Private natural burial took place at Prairie Home Cemetery on Thursday, February 16, 2017.
