Elaine Hartwell

Elaine E. Hartwell (nee Hoffmann) of Waukesha, formerly of Milwaukee, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at the age of 95. She was born on January 29, 1915 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Theodore and Helen (nee Hobus) Hoffmann. Elaine enjoyed playing cards with friends at Willow Park where she was a resident. She was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Waukesha. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Hartwell, and her brother Norman Hoffmann. She is survived by her children: Karen (the late Richard) Hawker, Dr. Bruce G. Hartwell, and Jered D. (Julie) Hartwell; grandchildren: Tracy A. Garvens (Tom) Rogers, Lisa (Scott) Ambrowiak, Kristi D. (Rus) Wallace, Jered A. (Crystal) Hartwell, and Jean Marie (Steve) Dziekan; great grandchildren: Shannon, Monica, and Erica Ambrowiak, Casey and Colby Wallace, Madeline and Cade Dziekan, Hailey and Ashley Jade Hartwell; and sister, Marcia Underberg.
