Edward Williams

Lifelong Waukesha County resident, M. Edward Williams, age 94, died on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born to Moses and Alice (nee: Edwards) Williams on the family farm on September 10, 1912. On November 13, 1948 he married Elizabeth at First United Methodist Church. She preceded him in death on December 9, 2000. Mr. Williams was a charter member of the St. David's Society and was a member of the Golden Lasers, he was very involved with Zion 4-H and the Farm Bureau. He was on the Town of Delafield Planning Commission as well as the Tabernacle Cemetery Committee. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1948 where he was active as an usher. He will be sadly missed by his loving children: Gladys (Richard) Huenink of Waukesha; Ralph Williams of Elkhorn; Ruth (Glenn) Bogdonoff of Virginia; Eleanor (Scott) Miller of Dousman; Alice (Joseph) Whitmore of North Prairie and Allen (Karen) Williams of Watertown. He is further survived by his 11 grandchildren, who called him ?Taid?: John (Kathy) Huenink, Heather (Matthew) Hull, William Huenink, Andy Miller, Melody Miller, Miles Miller, Bryn Whitmore, Emma Whitmore, Kimberly Williams, Kristy Williams, Katryna Williams; 5 great-grandchildren: Meg, Lucy and Cooper Huenink; Foster and Owen Hull and by his brother Jeremiah Williams of the Town of Delafield, other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Elizabeth, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Nellie Prentice, Nettie Bonniwell, William Williams and Jessie Williams. Visitation and Services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM Funeral Service. The Rev. Dwight Bastian is officiating. Graveside Services will take place at Tabernacle Cemetery on Bryn Drive on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Please meet at the cemetery.
