Edward Rodden

North Port, Florida-Edward J. "Budd" Rodden, 85 of North Port, Florida and Green Lake, WI in the summers and formerly of Waukesha, died Friday, December, 22 2006. He was born in Waukesha on November 7, 1921 to Edward and Mary (Howard) Rodden. On July 27, 1946 he married the former Bernadine Hojnacki. Mr. Rodden was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church since 1956, a member of the Holy Name Society and an usher for many years. He was a member of the Waukesha Council #1825 Knights of Columbus and of the Albert Cardinal Meyer Assembly #1304, 4th degree Knights of Columbus. After retiring from his house moving business, he worked as a custodian as WCTC. He and his wife are also members at San Pedro Catholic Church in Florida. Budd is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Bernadine; their children: Susan Driscoll of West Allis, Edward (Linda) Rodden of Waukesha and Mary (John) Heim of Milwaukee. Further survived by 10 loving grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister Margaret (Alfred) Kubicek of South Milwaukee. Other relatives and friends also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John and sisters, Mary Nagel and Jane McDonald. Family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, December 29, 2006 from 10:00 A.M. until the 12:00 Noon Funeral Mass all at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with full military honors.
