Edward Behling

August 13, 1947 — April 28, 2011

Edward J. “Ed” Behling, of Waukesha, was Born to Eternal Life on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at the age of 63. He was born on August 13, 1947 in Milwaukee, the son of Russell and the late Yvonne (nee Bresina) Behling. He has been a faithful member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, where he sang in the choir and was active with the garden club.   In 2007 he retired from Miller Brewing Company, after many years of service. He was the devoted and loving husband of Christine “Chris” (nee Butkowski) Behling, who preceded him in death on November 12, 2007. He is survived by his father Russell Behling, aunt Marian Demers, a niece, cousins and many friends. Ed will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, Lucy (Dan) Buretta and Jean (Kim) Trippler, brother-in-law Ed (Rose) Butkowski, special nieces and nephews: Anne (Jason) Horak, Emily Buretta, Kate Buretta, Jake Trippler Jessica Trippler, great-nephew Orion Horak. Dear friend to Paulette (the late Lyle) Schmadl, “uncle” to Steven (Anne) Schmadl and Robert (Sarah) Schmadl. In addition to his wife and mother, he was preceded in death by his brother Tom and sister Debbie. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7 from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am Funeral Mass at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 W. State Rd.
