Earnest L. Bowe

Earnest LeRoy Bowe of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at age 91. He was born in Black Creek, WI on July 7, 1925 the son of Frank and Alice (nee Williams) Bowe. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He retired from Waukesha Rubber Company. Earnest enjoyed gardening, putting together puzzles, shooting pool and fishing. He will always be remembered for his kindness, big heart and extreme generosity to his community.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Erna Bowe of Waukesha and their children Jeff Bowe of New Berlin, Allen (Dawn) Bowe of Waukesha, Lila Schwartz of Waukesha and Carol Jackson of Tennessee. He is further survived by 9 grandsons, 8 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Honoring Earnest’s wishes, a private family service and committal will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery.
