Dr. J. "Al" Asby

Of New Berlin, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at his home at the age of 78. He was born on August 6, 1929 the son of Alvin John & Josephine (nee Lynch) Asby in Racine, WI. He was a private practice dentist in Big Bend for 45 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Kim Lemmer-Asby of New Berlin, his children; Michael (Corky) Asby of Eagle, Carolyn (Dave) Krafcheck of Palmyra, and Joe (Lura) Asby of East Troy, along with their mother Ann Stelzner, his fourteen grandchildren; Alana (Josh), Maggie (Eric), Joe, Abigail, Grace, twins Hannah and Ruth, Charles, Bryan, John, Mary, James, Rebecca, and Joshua, his great-grandchild, Ian. He is further survived by his sister Lois Dominick of Upland, CA along with other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Cathryn Vosika. A Funeral Mass will held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., Waukesha. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15 from 5:00 until 7:00PM, at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI with a vigil service at 7:00PM. Private family burial will be held at Westlawn Cemetery in Racine.
