Doris Biever

Doris J. Biever, of Waukesha, formerly of Dousman, died on Monday, August 8, 2011 at The Virginia Health & Rehab Center at the age of 88.  She was born on January 7, 1923 in the town of Genesee the daughter of Thomas and Marietta (nee Williams) Jones. She worked at Wern Farms for many years as a bookkeeper where she met her husband Everett “Tony” Biever.  They were united in marriage on August 23, 1947 in Genesee; he preceded her in death on August 4, 2011.  Doris was a 25-year charter member of Highview Presbyterian Church and a previous member of Ottawa Presbyterian Church. She will be sadly missed by her son Tom (Deborah) Biever of Waukesha; granddaughter Leah (Dennis) Hohisel of Waukesha; and her great-grandchildren Connor and Jackson Hohisel of Waukesha.  She is further survived by her sister Hazel (Norman) Johnson of Delafield along with nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters Barbara Hargrave and Helen Jones, and her parents. Visitation and services will be combined with her husband Everett “Tony” Biever’s services who died on Thursday.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 1:00PM until the 3:00PM funeral service at Highview Presbyterian Church S50 W33042 Hwy GE Dousman, WI 53118.  Interment will immediately follow at Salem Cemetery in Wales.
