Denise Cheeseman

Denise C. Cheeseman, of Fort Atkinson, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Monday, September 17, 2007 at the age of 60. She was born on April 23, 1947 in Milwaukee to Harvey and Claire (nee: Potter) Hemmen. She had worked as a certified nursing assistant at Three Pillars Masonic Home in Dousman. On April 28, 2004 she married Stewart Cheeseman in their woods in Adams County. She enjoyed writing poetry, fishing, camping, hiking and watching birds. She loved chocolate and was a very talented seamstress. Denise was an avid gardener. She will be sadly missed by her devoted husband Stewart of Fort Atkinson. Beloved mother of Mary (Paul) Smith of Waukesha, Scott (Kelly) Mascari of Waukesha, Dave Jr. (Kelly) Mascari of Zion, IL, and stepson Keith Cheeseman of Milwaukee. Dearest grandma of Matthew, Gavin, Kylie and Jonathan. She is further survived by her father Harvey (Marian) Hemmen of Milwaukee, brothers Terry (Susie) Hemmen of Chino Valley, AZ and Craig (Sue) Hemmen of New Berlin, as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1969 and stepson Matthew Cheeseman in 2003.
