Darrel Weinrich

Darrel R. Weinrich of Greendale, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at his home at the age of 83. He was born on August 8, 1927 in West Allis, the son of J. Stanley and Betsy (nee Montgomery) Weinrich. After graduating from West Allis Central High School in 1945, Darrel proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. In 1951, he graduated from Carroll College in Waukesha. He was united in marriage to Lola Mae Hoppe on June 16, 1956. Darrel spent 35 years working in the banking industry before retiring due to heart trouble. After first working at West Allis Central Bank, he helped start Marine Bank in Waukesha. He later started and worked at Southridge Bank in Greendale, ending his career at Edgewood Bank in Greenfield. Darrel will be deeply missed by his wife of 54 years, Lola Mae (nee Hoppe) Weinrich of Greendale; his nieces: Lynn (Doug) Keuer and Lori (Bret) Wagner; brothers-in-law: Delbert and Herbert Hoppe; and sister-in-law, Mardel (Wayne) Gustafson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Sherman (Beverly) Weinrich, and his parents.  Visitation will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Services continue on Tuesday, January 4, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service at the church. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, with full military honors. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 660 E.
