Clara Dawley

Clara I. Dawley, of Waukesha, died January 6, 2008 at her home at the age of 101. She was born on November 18, 1906 in Hamburg, WI to Frank and Helena (nee: Petznick) Kysow. She was a graduate of Wausau High School. Following high school she moved to Milwaukee where she worked for 17 years at Otto A. Braun Insurance Agency. On May 20, 1937 she married John Oliver Dawley at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. For 22 years John and Clara owned and operated Ollie Dollie One Hour Dry Cleaners on South St. in Waukesha. She was a member of the Bahai faith. Survived by two nephews, a niece, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John Oliver Dawley on April 27, 1983, infant sisters Ethyl and Hattie and brother Dewey Kysow in 1974. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. Graveside services will take place on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Valhalla Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the charity of donor's choice.
