Carolyn A. Ziegelmann, age 64 of the Town of Vernon, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on March 11, 1944 in Chattanooga, TN, the daughter of Harry and Ruby (Berg) Butterfield. Carolyn graduated from Waukesha South High School in 1962, and later married Melvin Ziegelmann on April 4, 1964 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Waukesha. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Holsom Foods for many years, and most recently at B&M Auto sales until her retirement in 1994. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially their Harley. Carolyn will be sadly missed by her husband, Mel of the Town of Vernon; her daughter, Lori (Dan) La Paz of Ixonia; her son, Brian (Doreen) Ziegelmann of Oconomowoc; two grandchildren: Benjamin and Samuel La Paz; two sisters: Peggy Butterfield and Patti Fries, both of Tucson, AZ; nieces: Mickey Staska of Denver, CO, and Linda Kane of Tucson, AZ; nephews: James Staska, Jr. of Minnesota, and Wayne Culver of Tucson, AZ, and Mike Culver, Jr. of Waukesha; and her special friends: Julieann Pauley and Diane Tompkins, both of Waukesha. She is preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 3:00 PM until the 7:00 PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. Rev. Bill Humphreys will preside. Private interment will be held at a later date at Concord Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Rolland Nelson Crossroads Hospice, 1020 E.
