Carol Waldvogel

Waukesha-Carol Ann Waldvogel, 60, of Waukesha, formerly of the Town of Erin, Washington County, died Friday, March 30, 2007 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She was born in Milwaukee on June 8, 1946 to Helen (nee: Krell) and the late Frank Lesjak. She was a graduate of Mount Mary college earning her degree in occupational therapy and the later a second degree in interior design. Carol lived with her family in the Town of Erin for 28 years and moved to Waukesha in 2004. She was a member of St. Mary of the Hill for 26 years where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a member and past officer of the Waukesha Kiwanian Club. On December 30, 1967 she married Charles J. Waldvogel at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 39 years, Charles J. of Waukesha and their two children: Julia Lynn (Kevin) Grove of Hammond, WI; Michael (Melissa) Waldvogel of Sun Prairie; three special grandchildren: Megan and Kaleigh Waldvogel and Elizabeth Grove; and her mother Helen Lesjak of Waukesha. She is further survived by her aunt Sister Christopher Krell, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Lesjak, and all of her other aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill, Chapel of St. Therese Level 2, 1515 Carmel Road Hubertus, Wisconsin from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A second visitation will take place also at the chapel on Wednesday, April 4th from 8:30 A.M. until the Funeral Mass at 9:30 A.M. Father Fred Alexander is officiating. Burial will take place after the Funeral Mass at St. Augustin Cemetery.
