Calvin Christopherson

Christopherson, Calvin A., age 86, died Tue., Aug. 16, 2011. Born on March 9, 1925 to Arthur and Violet (Hansen) Christopherson. He had farmed in New Berlin and then became the owner of Central Redi-Mix for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his sons and grandsons. Survived by his children Shirley (Jack) Richardson, Carol (Dennis) Flann, Donna Christopherson and Dale Christopherson. Further survived by 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Peggy Christopherson; special friend Pat; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his son Dean and grandchildren Kelly and John Christopherson. Visitation Fri., Aug. 19 from 4:00 until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Sat., Aug. 20 from 9:30AM until the funeral service at 10:30AM. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Calvin loved to eat, therefore, in lieu of flowers; memorials to the Waukesha Food Pantry, 1301 Sentry Dr. Waukesha, WI 53186 are appreciated.
