Beverly J. “Buddy” Zink, of Waukesha, passed from this life peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Lake Country Health & Rehabilitation Center, at the age of 81. She was born in Streeter, North Dakota on April 30, 1934, the daughter of Minnie Zink. Buddy worked at Generac as an assembly worker for many years. She was a longtime member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Waukesha. Buddy loved traveling and made it to nearly every state, Canada, and Mexico. She enjoyed going to the casino and win or lose, she always had a good time. She also played a mean game of Cribbage. She was a devoted and loyal friend and family member, always willing to lend a helping hand if she could. And, she doted on her beloved Rat Terrier, Misty Blue.

She will be sadly missed by her nieces Dolores Jones (Willie) of Minneapolis, Dena LeMere (Bob) of Waukesha, and nephew Steven Zink (Michele) of Milwaukee, sister-in-law Johanna Zink, dear friends Bonnie and Richard Tietz, Lavola Euers, Gladys Rice, Ron Keating, and Lois “Erdie” Piel of Augusta, WI.

She is further survived by great-nieces and great-nephews, Karen Jones, Susan Roddy, Megan Arko, Sara Vanden Heuvel, Jonathon Holsclaw, Elizabeth Cull, Michael Zink and Stephanie Zink; great-great nieces and nephews, William Roddy, Rachel Roddy, Ethan Vanden Heuvel, Madelyn Vanden Heuvel, Benjamin Vanden Heuvel, Natalie Cull, Nora Cull and Aiden Cull; along with other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Minnie Zink, brother Edgar Zink, sister Lorena Wolfgang and precious friend Glennie Reed.
