Beulah Evans

Beulah Evans, formerly of Wales, died Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Compass Point in Dousman at the age of 85.  She was born on August 4, 1923 in Sussex, the daughter of Theodore and Isabelle (nee Kurtz) Siewart.  Beulah graduated from Waukesha High School in 1941, and later was united in marriage to Byron “Bunny” Evans.  She was employed as a secretary for Generac and Wales Metal before retirement.  Beulah was a longtime member of Jerusalem Presbyterian Church in Wales, and a member of Kettle Moraine Country Club.  She enjoyed golfing, gardening, and had a great love of animals, especially their Golden Retrievers.  Beulah will be sadly missed by her children:  Holly (Steve) Evans-Burns of San Lorenzo, CA, Robin Evans of Carson City, NV, and Doug (Connie) Evans of Cottage Grove, WI; grandchildren:  Trevor, Seth, Lane (Jennifer), Gwen, Sarah, and Trent; and great-grandchild, Addison.   She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Byron, in 2006; her siblings:  Ted, Earla, and Joyce; and her parents.   Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 from 10:30 AM until the 11:30 AM memorial service at Jerusalem Presbyterian Church, 207 W. Main St., Wales, WI.  Rev. Julie Craig will preside.  Interment will be held privately at Jerusalem Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 6130 W.
