Betty Hayes

Of Waukesha, formerly of Milwaukee, died on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 77. She was born on October 28, 1930 in Montgomery, Alabama the daughter of Samuel and Fanny (nee Kelley) Griffin. On September 4, 1952 she married Roger Hayes at the Gunter Air Force Base in Alabama. She retired in 1988 from the WH Brady Company where she worked for many years. Betty and her husband lived at Summit Woods for four years, making many good friends. Betty will be sadly missed by her beloved husband, Roger of Waukesha, her loving children: Ronald (Maureen) Hayes of Milwaukee, Karen (Zaki) Abunegila of New Berlin, and Mark (Tracey) Hayes of Dousman, her dear grandchildren: Joseph Hayes, Jennifer (Nick) Lieb, Michael Hayes, Nicole Garland, and her special great-grandchildren, Cameron Hayes and Emma Rose Lieb. She is further survived by her sister Mammie Lou Kendrick of Evergreen, Alabama, her brother-in-law Larry Hayes of Virginia, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 1:00PM at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the 1:00PM funeral service at the funeral home. Committal services will immediately follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
