Bessie Westphal

BESSIE MARIE "ROBBIE" WESTPHAL of Centreville, VA died Tuesday September 26, 2006 at Inova-Fair Oaks Hospital. She was born September 27, 1926 in Canton, OH to the late Harry and Ethel Myers Robinson. She resided in Waukesha, WI until moving to Virginia in 1986. She served in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII. She had been a customer service representative at the Fair Oaks Mall in Virginia for several years. She was preceded in death by two sons; Stephen and Jack Westphal. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack W. Westphal, whom she met during her service in the Army Air Corp and married on October 14, 1944. She is also survived by her children; Jerome Westphal, David Westphal and his wife Mary, Mark Westphal, Marcie Tuggle and her husband Don, Brian Westphal, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one sister, Susan Stevanus and her husband Tim. Graveside services will take place with full military honors on Tuesday October 3, 2006 at 1:30 PM at Prairie Home Cemetery.
