Bergetta Ruehmer

February 9, 1922 — July 16, 2012

Bergetta J. Ruehmer, of Waukesha, died on Monday, July 16, 2012 at AngelsGrace Hospice surrounded by her family at the age of 90. She was born in Waukesha on February 9, 1922 the daughter of the late Kernal and Nellie (nee Olson) Olson. Bergetta worked for SEWRPC as a cartographer from 1969 until her retirement in 1996. She loved nature, camping and traveling where she traveled throughout the United States, Europe and Canada and followed her roots back to Norway. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waukesha for over 60 years. She will be sadly missed by her three children, David (Cathy) Ruehmer, Lynn (John) Thomas and Larry (fiancée Suzanne) Ruehmer all of Waukesha, her grandchildren Nick Ruehmer, Tracy (fiancé Steve Smith) Clark, Todd (Connie) Ruehmer and Jennifer Ruehmer and one great-grandchild Eden Ruehmer. She is further survived by her sister Karen (Lee) Pagel of North Prairie, the family dog “Springer” along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur and her brother Wes Olson.  The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of AngelsGrace Hospice for the special care and concern they provided. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 4:00 until 7:00PM at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S.
